Don came out to fix our toilet. We called on a Thursday and he came out Friday which we really appreciated. He fixed the toilet no problem - bad flush valve and replaced the supply line. No issues with any of that. Only problem that I feel inclined to let people know is when he finished he charged $325. He was at the house for one hour, and the parts replaced can’t be more than $50-70 from Home Depot including a markup so just be aware you are going to be paying around $250/hr for plumbing services. My family has been going to Don forever. Always great work and great communication.
Have used Don's services for nearly 30 yearrs without disappointments. He is prompt on answering requests and sticks with the job until completed successfully or all options for repair are exhausted. When repairs require more than a normal plumber's tools and equipment, his recommendations of who to follow on with are s[ot on. Don returned the call at the end of the day that I called. He worked us into his next day schedule. Spent a few hours clearing all our weeping tiles and stopped the flooding in the basement. Very good to work with. My wife complimented his professionalism.
We had a recent basement flood due to a clogged basement drain due to several days of heavy rains. We had tried calling some other plumbing services recommended on a Facebook community page, but none got back to us very quickly (one called me back today- 9 days later!).
