Donovan's Steak & Chop House is wonderful This place has great food and I don't eat steak. The waiter and waitresses totally know their stuff and make great recommendations for food and wine. It's a big room but it's sectioned so you don't have to shout to be heard.
Donovan's fails to deliver After receiving reservation confirmations by phone and e-mail, a straight-faced Donovanâs hostess had trouble finding them. The place was relatively busy for a Monday evening but not overly crowded. We seemed to be more of an inconvenience than a couple out to enjoy a romantic dining experience. Steak House Done Right Having eaten at many of the PHX area steak houses, I had the pleasure to enjoy Donovan's with a group of members from magnums Fine Cigars and Spirits. It was worth every penny. I had the filet and sprimp scampi. Both were done to perfection, severed with galic mashed and steamed veggies. The Caesar salad, clamari, bread all held up to the standard you'd expect there. Donovan's Steak & Chop House is fantastic I've only had great experiences at Donovan's and would take it any day of the week over Flemings or Ruth's Chris. The somalier really knows his or her stuff in my experience and I've had some of the best fish dishes I've ever eaten here. The service is exceptional and worth the $$
