Go to Donovan's if you want to be CHEATED out of your MONEY!!! Agree with below - NOT HONEST. If you want to be cheated out of lots of money and not get good repair then go to Donovans!!! Went in for repair of our car. They only fixed half the problem and refused to fix the rest after charging over $500. Also left on a switch that drained some of the $100 battery we just purchase and had replaced by them. Horrible service. I judged; charge was not excessive. Best garage around. Everybody I've ever sent there has never gone anywhere else since. Great customer service, very up front. And in response to Greg H, complaining about a $109 Interstate battery. That's the best battery around. And $87 labor charge for all that. Check around with other repair shops/dealerships. They all are $100+ per hour.
in regards to the last post In any business one must make a profit in order to stay open I am sure they did not buy the alternator from the store you quoted in your rant. that is like saying the steak I bought at the Plaza III was over priced it sells at the grocery store for 1/4 that price. If you guys are so knowledgeable about cars why did it go to a shop????
Not Honest Went in for brake pads. Ended up with rotors, calipers and semi-metalic pads when I asked for ceramic. Brakes failed after their work. Took it back. They said Master Cylinder was bad. Took it somewhere else. Donovans damaged a hose. Pat Donovan lied to me in a follow up conversation. Pat lied to my son. I don't think I needed the calipers or rotors since I had them replaced 30K miles ago. They sent me out on the road with bad brakes when they worked when I took it into them. Honest, Dependable and Excellent Service I have been using Donovan's service for several years and have found them to be reasonably priced, knowledgeable and most of all honest. If there is a problem they take time to explain it to me in layman's term. They will show you the bad part and explain why it's bad as well. Just ask them. Personally I have never had better car service.
I will be back! Went there today to take in my daughters car. They performed the service that was needed, did it for a reasonable charge and kept me informed of options so as to allow me to make an intelligent decision. I will be back to them in the future.
Best auto service in town "Donovan's" is where my family and I have taken our cars and trucks for more than 17 years. If you are looking for honesty, knowledge, skill and just basically, a fair deal, go to "Donovan's."
Superb!! The best in the business! My entire family have taken their cars there for many years. I won't refer my friends anywhere else. The most honest, reasonable, decent people. It's no wonder they have been around for generations. Thanks Pat for all you do!
