Very good service
I deleted my old review because it was positive and therefore no longer relevant. That was for the Donnie’s of ten years ago. If you’re expecting that Donnie’s you will be sorely disappointed. Don’t even bother. Go somewhere - anywhere- else. Lousy food, lousy service, and the place smells like a combination of cigarettes and a musty basement. I’m genuinely shocked that they somehow are still in business. Sad demise of a once enjoyable and vibrant establishment. < 1 star were it possible.
We had never eaten at Donnie’s until today. We found the service to be A Plus and the deep pan pizza outstanding! Knowing that a similar deep pan pizza in Chicago, for example, would have been twice as expensive and maybe not as tasty! This place is a gem! We highly recommend it!!!!
Always great food and ambiance at Donnie’s. I’ve only been to the downtown location a few times since the move, but the quality has stayed consistent. They’re making some of the best pizza in town and have some fantastic vegetarian & vegan options if you’re looking for those!
Stunning environment, excellent service and delicious options! Our go-to date spot downtown!
