Dr. Donnel has always been great with my child. He explains things in a way that helps us parents understand but with out talking down to you. I love that when he interacts with my child he asks can I listen to your heart or can I look at your ear? He and his staff are great and I would recommend his office to anyone looking for a pediatrician.
Dr. Donnel is one of the best doctors in San Antonio! He really cares about what he does and has a great attitude, great personality and is super easy to talk to. He's cautious, which is so great and really refreshing! We know him to ALWAYS be really informative, very helpful and prompt to fix any issue. We always leave happy. I also understand that wait time is bad, but really, it's bad everywhere! So if you must wait, Dr. D is well worth the wait! He is a real pro and I highly recommend!
Great doctor! Very poor office manager and staff. I had to switch doctors because they messed up the appointment and told me I had to make another one and spend another half day driving back and forth. And I didn't even get an apology. When I got upset they told me to leave or they would call the cops because they didn't want to hear my complaints and would not take responsibility. Very unprofessional.
Over 10 months, I was unable to get a sick appt. 7/7 times I tried, & was referred to Urgent Care ( for pink eye, strep, UTI.) Combined with the ridiculous wait times, it was unacceptable patient care - my kids were seeing a different doctor every time - with no continuity of care or developed trust. Though we were long time patients & we like Dr. Donnel - we left the practice. We've been able to get sick appts 5/5 times w/in 2 hrs at the new practice, & never waited more than 10 minutes total.
