If you're seeing this doctor before you go to college and you are going to be going to college outside of Wichita find a new doctor in your college town. I have had problems with her office in getting in contact with people, having refills for my medication made, and will not work with my schedule. More than once I've had to miss entire days of classes just to have an appointment to get a refill. Several times I've had a panic attack over the phone because they won't let me get a refill.
I was informed by an office assistant that Dr. would not prescribe a prescription that I was on that was disclosed on the intake phone call when requesting an appointment. I hadn't even asked for the prescription, just disclosed the medicines I regularly take or take as needed. I find it offensive that this discussion took place when I was calling as a new patient with symptoms unrelated. I'm looking further for a Dr. that doesn't make such judgement in advance of seeing a patient in person
