She was the best in town, but she is retired now. I went to her for years.
She is a wonderful doctor. I've been a patient of hers for 3 years now and she's very thorough, kind and knowledgeable. She explains everything to you on a human level so you understand what is happening within your eye. I've been to other Dr's that don't have the ability to explain your condition to you in common terms and you are more confused after their explaination. I would highly recommend Dr Leonardo if you are anticipating cataract surgery. She listens and she is willing to work with you and answer any questions. She really put me at ease when I found out I had cataracts and would need surgery. I had both eyes done in September and couldn't be happier with the results. She and her staff were great! I seldom had to wait long. Everyone at The Family Eye Group in both Ephrata and Lancaster offices were friendly, efficient, and easy to work with.
Dr. Leonardo performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes last month with excellent results. I could not have a better experience and would highly recommend Dr. Leonardo as the surgeon to anyone planning for cataract surgery!
Im not recomending anybody going too her for eye surgery, she is only concerned for the money, not the patient. I was schedule for surgery on oct. 26, but i could not get to the office from quarryville to the campus i cannot have the catarex done.just to sign concent i want it to sign it on the day of the surgery, i was told no. So i dont give no star.........
I was a nervous Nelly and Dr. Leonardo, through her confidence, made me feel confident that everything would be all right. She put up with lots of questions due to my fear of surgery. Would recommend her with confidence.
