The physician lacked empathy during appointments and was dismissive of the symptoms I shared with her. I was referred by a female friend, so maybe this physician is more empathetic to female patientsand less empathetic towards male patients. I requested a physician change and found a physician that provided me the empathy, professionalism and recovery plan to address my symptoms. Physician lack patient care skills. I had questions about her recommendation which her speaking dismissive to me. She doesn't return emails timely. She lacked empathy when I was having a panic attack in her office as a result of prescribed medications. She misdiagnosed my condition and prescribed high dose of unnecessary medication that resulted in my being rushed to ER. She complained to me that she had over 300 patients so I had to understand over month wait to see her.

Dr. Ehlers, is a very gifted Psychiatrist. Her expertise and knowledge and skills at listening, diagnosing, and providing great care has been a true gift for me She was recommended by a dear friend many years ago, and I am very glad she did Highly recommend!
