I've been seeing Donica for several months due to chronic migraines. I had tried acupuncture previously, but the treatments did not help - however, Donica has worked her magic! During our first appointment, I was extremely impressed by the way that she took plenty of time to review my history and my ongoing ailments. Donica is absolutely wonderful. She makes you feel comfortable, explains everything thoroughly, and is gentle and calming with her treatments. I have gone to her for acupuncture and cupping treatments, and have loved every experience. She has also prescribed herbs and formulas for a few ailments, and everything has worked! I love using all natural and alternative medicine when possible, and Donica is my trusted guide and advisor. Highly recommend!
Donica has been treating me for a little over a year now. At first it was for Arthritic hand pain and nightly leg cramps. The hand pain has gone from holy cow, holy cow to barely noticeable and the muscle cramps in my legs are totally gone which has improved my quality of sleep tremendously. Donica is absolutely amazing! While staying in Portland, completing an important clinical rotation, she helped me get through a severe cold, enabling me to continue working and allowing me to heal. 95% of the time my colds turn into pneumonia, however, with a focus on diet, herbal remedies, acupuncture and true cupping methods to purge impurities, I got better fast! Donica is really caring, sweet, and takes the time to understand exactly what you are looking for. She works with you to understand the root of the problem and tailors the treatment to your individual needs. She has great bedside manner. She really listens. Would absolutely recommend. (Bonus- she also teaches yoga and is very knowledgeable about a lot of different areas in Eastern medicine.)
