I found the doctor to be direct and thorough, my well being was at the forefront always. The doctor and his associates, nurses, staff all were very professional and kind. They were very detailed about all levels and types of information. After the surgery I found him to be even more empathetic towards my long 48 years 'issue'. I had breast cancer so I underwent a double mastectomy. Donath did my reconstruction. It was fine for the first year. After that, my boobs look like pancakes even with implants! They are so embarrassing. I will not show anyone. The are different sizes. One “nipple”points in a different direction than the other. They are horrible. Pocket was left too big. Not enough skin was removed so the implants move around and flip over! Thank god he isn’t practicing anymore.
I was referred by my surgeon for reconstruction after mastectomy. My experience with Dr. Donath was mostly terrible. He often made rude, offensive comments about my body. He never listened to me, I think because he was so focused on talking about himself. When, after the reconstruction was "done", and the implant was 3 inches too high, he said that was the best I could hope for, was very annoyed and "didn't have time to talk." Dr.Donath, Anne and Autumn were fabulous! I am so happy with my reduction. I was afraid to take this step, but Dr. Donath's professionalism, knowledge and kindness allowed me to experience a great outcome. The staff are wonderful and you can count on them to be there with you throughout the entire process. If I was to have any other surgery that can be performed by Dr. Donath, then he will be my surgeon!
Dr. Donath was recommended by a friend and within minutes of meeting him I knew I’d found “my doctor”. He is very professional, but also funny and relaxed. From the start he set very realistic expectations and had even my mother at ease about both the procedure and the results. From start to finish my experience was excellent. His staff is lovely and both his office and the medical facility where he performed my surgery was clean, comfortable and well staffed with amazing people. A++++
