The hospital itself was good, the behavioral side is not. The case manager/social worker will tell you one thing and put something different in her reports. Thankfully the Dr was able to document her behaviors and his reports trump the social workers. The place is so disorganized, it never felt like they were trying to work with us to get care needed for our daughter. We’ve used other facilities in the past and have never experienced the problems as we did with this psych ward. We will not be using them again.
Had all good to say till last visit. I was going to this hospital under a Georgia grant to get labs for $20 because of no insurance. We were informed today the new hospital administrator says they can't afford it (what happened to grant?). $20 used to cover the labs, but now it is $10 per test. So if 12 lab tests in one blood draw it is now $120. Sounds like new admnistrator cares more about money than people without insurance.
