I have been trying to reschedule a surgery for a week now. I have called four times and have been told every time that the scheduler will call me back. This has to be somebody's idea of a joke. They apparently don't want my business.

While the quality of the medical care is outstanding, the entire appointment making process to the claims process is so bad that I now I plan on filing a complaint with the State of Ohio Insurance division. First the appointment scheduler took weeks of back and forth to schedule, you could hear her kids screaming in the background and yet she offered no real apologies for the lack of service. I had eye surgery done by Dr. Roxana Rivera on Oct. 14th,2022. She is an amazing surgeon and all of the staff at the Edgewood hospital are wonderful. I can't say enough on the wonderful care I received from the nurses. I really appreciate everything they did for me. Thanks CJH

I had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Meier. I found him to be personable, professional and exceedingly qualified as a physician. My procedures went well and, although my eyes are still healing, I can definitely "see" a distinct difference. I will be sure to recommend Dr. Meier. Vicki R.

I am beyond disgusted. He should not call himself a “doctor.” We were referred by pediatric craniofacial and ophthalmology due to a severe injury to my toddler’s eye. Hudak brought a “witness” in with him to our exam room and immediately asked if we were pursuing legal action for his injury (which I said NO), then basically said he couldn’t help us. The first visit I waited 1 hour and a half; the second one an hour. The visit was only 5 minutes each time. The eye drops he prescirbed was $300 and didn't solve the problem. I still have the original symptoms and all he told me was to stop the eyedrops.

I suddenly had floaters and cloudy vision. Regardless of them having no appointments, they worked me in immediately. I needed 3 different doctors for a retinal tear. They made sure I was thoroughly evaluated and repaired my tear before I left. They saved my eye!

Dr. Katana performed Cataract Surgery on my right eye on December6, 2018, and it did not go well. Contrary to the notion that Cataract Surgery would lead to improved vision, the vision in my right eye is far worse compared to the time before Surgery I am angry. Dr. Katana Lied to me when he told me he would schedule two Field Tests and call me with the results. I faithfully underwent the Field Tests on April 11. However, to this date in May, Dr. Katana has never called me with the results. I think CEI owes me financial... read more
