As a former dancer that has suffered from multiple injuries, I had a few surgeries with Dr. Rose. Let me just say he is the most compassionate and down to earth doctor. The minute he walks into the room he puts off such a calm and soothing energy. He's an excellent surgeon and makes you feel at ease. I’m a nervous wreck when it comes to surgery and anesthesia, but Dr. Rose made me feel so relaxed in the OR I forgot I was evening having surgery. He’s truly one of a kind.
RecommendedDr. Rose is skilled, kind and thorough. His office staff is pleasant, efficient and professional, as well. I went to him for a second opinion for the repair of my ruptured Achilles Tendon. I was impressed by his knowledge and thoroughness. He gave me all the information I needed without being condescending or making false promises. The surgery went perfectly and he did such a masterful job on my incision!! I would recommend, with great enthusiasm, Dr Rose to any and everyone.
Excellent doctor! Very knowledgeable about dance injuries and dancers' health. We could not find a local orthopedic specialist with the knowledge to adequately treat dance-related issues. So happy to have found Dr. Rose!

I recommend Dr Rose to any of my friends when they have issues. He is very professional, thoughtful and clear in helping me understand my injuries. Also his office staff is efficient and friendly. There is a reason he is connected with the Harkness Center for Dance Therapy (He is excellent, that's why).
Dr. Rose has been my doctor for many years. He has superbly tended to my sprains, frozen shoulders, fractures and even arranged details for surgery when he felt it was out of his purview. He is always a pleasure to deal with, extremely professional, happy to answer any questions in as much detail as you wish and has a wonderful staff that welcomes his patients graciously and efficiently.
Dr. Rose is everything a doctor should be. He is professional, kind, and extremely knowledgable. He took the time to evaluate hands on, assessed her dance biomechanics and then explained and answered any and all questions with patience. I took my 13 yo ballerina daughter to him for care. As a mom who is also a physical therapist, I couldn't be happier with the care my daughter received from Dr. Rose. His office is also a pleasure to work with. Bonus!

i went to Dr Rose for a torn Rotator and Labrum,his staff was so knowledgeable , respectable, and wanted to make me happy and whole.All my questions we answered and explained and fears calmed. All my follow up appointments met the same service - i never waited more than 15 minutes in the waiting room. I was fully healed in 4 months instead of the normal 6. i have already recommended 6 other family and friends they have experienced the same.
