Donald Miller Electric recently completed knob and tube remediation in our home and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Donald explained the entire process beforehand and was always available should we have any questions. This is a bit of a different review because I didn't actually hire Donald Miller for our knob and tube rewiring, but I wish I would have. At the time I chose another contractor - let's call him Joe, another reputable k&t specialist in the area - because he gave us aggressively good pricing for the project, I had not yet realized how significant it is for Donald to do traditional plaster repair. Donald Millers Electric Services removed and replaced the knob and tube wiring in my house. They did an excellent job. In addition to doing great electrical work, they were very careful about protecting furniture, floors, and the house in general. Also, they did a great job of patching walls. They really went the extra mile in making recommendations and communicating with me. I couldn't be happier with their work and would highly recommend them.
If you need to have your knob and tube replaced, you want to go with this company. We were so impressed from the initial visit to the completion of the project. They price your house by square foot so you know what to expect. From there they will give you an a la carte menu of extras so you know exactly how much things are going to cost.
