This is NOT a doctor who listens to or acts on your concerns and I strongly recommend finding another doctor. After being on high cholesterol medication and monitoring my blood work for a decade, I know that a very high triglyceride number means something is wrong. I specifically asked this doctor to test again and make recommendations based on the test. The blood test he ordered failed to include a cholesterol screening and he refused to add it after I told him a second time I wanted it.
We have been going to Dr. Levine for probably at least 15 years. He never rushes thru the visit. People complain about the wait, but he will spend as long as you need to talk to him about your health--aches, fear of test results, anything. He never looks at his watch. So I bring a book and wait to see a wonderful doctor w/great staff. I miss older nurse but everyone is great. He will spend time with you.
