Young wanted testing done, he will send you for testing. Schedule you for a appointment for him to give you results. He has canceled 4 times for emergency Schedule. Nurse will try to read results best she can. Will tell you the doctor will call with them, too busy.
Dr. Young has a friendly and professional staff. The doctor explained the technical aspects of heart surgery as well as effects and what one goes through post op. Answered our questions with detailed and caring explanation. He and his staff assembled our information and medical history in detail and issued an array of applicable tests. Dr. Young is a trusted professional and I am confident to be placed in his care.
I was very frightened of 3-way bypass surgery. The initial pre-surgery consultation was thorough and professional, while also being warm, caring and patient. That was certainly true of Dr. Young and his nurse, Michelle but was also true of the rest of the staff. My procedure is not going to be fun, but I’m glad Dr. Young is my surgeon.
His patient care is excellent. He explained my heart issues in detail to me. I was given my option for better health and chance of survival. He is a concerned physician very caring. He went right to work getting all of my tests he needed to be able to do my surgery. He also sent me right away to a doctor for my cough so I would be in shape for the surgery. Just waiting on the tests results. I like the kindness and care I was shown.
Dr Young is a very compassionate doctor because staff and nurses are very kind even though I forgot to ask a lot of questions he was patient with me and understanding I would recommend him to anyone that needed the cardiovascular surgery

Dr. Donald J. Young M.D. and his exemplary staff are truly amazing. Thanks to their excellent care and attention to detail, I now have a new lease on a better quality of life. Additionally, because of the flawless surgical intervention with my CABG x4, I was finally able to seek treatment for other physical disabilities that had been placed on the 'back burner' due to my cardiovascular issues.
