Dr Hilebrand doesn’t even deserve one star. Where he lacks in empathy compassion, he makes up for in arrogance. For instance, when my father asked him what he would do if this was his son (as my brother lay there dying of liver failure) his response was that his son wouldn’t be in that position. His response to us pleading with him to help save my brother’s life was that we should accept the fact that he wasn’t going to leave the hospital alive and that he knew no transplant center would accept him for listing bc he he worke... read more
Dr Hildebrand was very personable and very thorough. He cares about your total health not just the liver. Very professional and answered all our questions . Would highly recommend him!
Dr. Hillebrand is an amazing doctor. I would highly recommend him. I had a 10cm hemangioma on my liver. He monitored me my whole pregnancy.after, I had baby he referred me to my surgeon Chaudhry who was wonderful as well thank you for taking care of me in such a stressful time . His staff is very friendly and helpful and great with my young children. Would highly recommend him to you!!! Dr. Hillebrand is the kind of Dr. we like. Short, to the point and he doesn't have the smoothest bedside manner but like all super intelligent Dr's goes straight to the point. I would give this five stars but some of the staff in that office are incompetent and don't follow through. Most are great but all it takes is one who slacks off and it ruins it for all.
Dr. Hildebrand was my brother’s doctor while he was at Methodist Hospital. My brother was there for liver failure and was trying to find a transplant center that would accept him. The doctor called one transplant center which denied my brother and then left him there to die and recommended “comfort care” until he dies. I told Dr. Hildebrand that he wasn’t doing all he could for my brother bc he literally called 1 place when there are several surrounding states with transplant centers.
