Says it’s open till 8:30 but closes early.. service is rude
I think I may have been one of the first customers at this Austin location today's morning. The chicken looked great, so I ordered a platter. Unfortunately, the chicken was extremely tough and rubbery, making it difficult to eat.
Austin location: Extremely rude customer service. Lady with short black hair seems like she hates her job and hates her life. She just yells at you and gives you nasty looks. We were starving but ended up leaving without getting anything due to the extremely disrespectful woman. If your customers are coming in with a smile and asking questions, maybe don’t yell at them and roll your eyes. 0 stars.
Summary: 4% credit surcharge. Provided wrong order. Got defensive and started shouting. Super size donairs are the same size as normal. Would avoid. --- Walked in on a whim after congestion on mariner, and came to try out donairs. Love having a meat wrap. Lady at the till was a little standoffish. I have been visiting this store for a few times now. I finally realized the reason my bills are always off by a few dollars. They put a 4% surcharge if you pay with credit cards. They never told me and I don't see any posted notice until I ask the cashier during the recent visit. Food is still very good here, though pricier than the other franchise location. The owner will probably just simply claim this is not their store and ask for the review to be removed. I can confirm this is the store at Austin Station, Coquitlam.
