I would highly recommend Dr. Donahue & his PA Sara. I have been seeing Dr. Donahue since January for my Cervical situation. I was recommended to see him from my Spinal doctor after she did the Cervical MRI seeing the problem that I had 2 herniated discs. Donahue & his PA Sara did my surgery on 11th of April 2016. I had no pain once so ever, the only thing that was normal was that I had a sore throat but that was basically it. I hardly used the pain meds that I was given! Give them 5 stars!
I am still recovering from the surgery I had but Dr. Donahue and his wonderful PT Sara are both professional and basically fantastic! They were always sensitive, well communicative and so far the results from he surgery are brilliant. The treatment and sensitivity after a dog attack was something that I am sure not many Doctors and their Physician's Assistants can do too well. Both Sara and Dr. Donahue are excellent.
I went to see Dr. Donahue after another doctor screwed up my foot in an earlier surgery. He walked in gave me three options, we discussed them and decided what we needed to do to fix the problem. He got me in to an appointment for surgery 2 weeks from that date. Then had to go back once a week for 4 weeks he removed the stitches, 2 months after my surgery we had my pins removed. He continued to see me twice after that to check to see how my foot was healing, I would absolutely recommend him!
One of the best in the country. He performed Cervical C4-C5 fusion on my neck on Sept 2, 2015... I woke up and the numbness was gone..! After two years of putting off surgery, he was recommended by a close family friend. I'm very glad I took their advice. I've since moved to TN and hope I can find the caliber of professionalism of Dr. Donahue, P.A. Sarah and their staff.. Thanks Dr.Donahue & P.A. Sarah. You fixed an old numb crippled guitar players life..!
Dr. Donahue recommended back surgery as a last resort. I was in a lot of pain. He had me try physical therapy and ultimately injections instead of surgery. I now live with no pain and I am in the best shape of my life. He's a great doctor and has a really friendly and professional staff. I also never ended up needing surgery. I am forever grateful for his honest approach.
As a surgeon he's amazing as a dr that explains everything well, he's awesome but expect to wait a very,very long time. I am a chronic pain sufferer along with the SI fusion surgery he did for me and it's very painful to be sitting or standing very long, most days I have to have my legs elevated so waiting over an hour past my appointment in a room where u hear everything & here him BS with another pt about sports made me angry and we left. Good doc if u can stand the wait
