From the moment the Dr Poulose entered the room, it was clear that my concerns were not being taken seriously. I was quickly informed that she does not treat patients with my symptoms unless they have an official diagnosis, despite the fact that I was referred to her for evaluation. I was very eager going into this appointment because I have been having pain for years. As soon as I walked in, I was told my appointment was cancelled without contacting me, and I drove almost an hour for this appointment. I received a referral for this doctor from an orthopedic doctor, and this one turned me away and said I should go see pain management. I have never been treated like this from a doctor in the methodist system, and it is truly disappointing to see that doctors and treating patients this way.
I reached out to make an appointment due to concern of having an autoimmune condition due to multiple symptoms I am having. She cancelled the appointment without seeing me or discussing my concerns and told me to follow up with my PCP. This is completely inappropriate and dismissive. I have never encountered this before with a physician. I have never written a bad review but I truly think she deserves one.
Dr. Dona Polouse and Methodist, the worst medical services I have received. Waste of money and time.
Very disappointed is an understatement. I usually look up providers prior to going to appointments, however I didn’t do so with Dr. Poulose and I sure regret that I didn’t. A total waste of time and like other patients had mentioned, she was cold, short, did not offer any additional testing, or probing. She basically wiggled my fingers and said “she’s not worried”.
