Our first experience was awful. 2 people and service dog. After we ordered our drinks, patron next to us started speaking in a loud voice how any dog can be a service dog and shouldn’t be allow. We were stunned and appalled at such accusations. I stood up to leave and told the rude person that this is a working service animal. The worst part of it all is the staff did nothing, multiple staff stirred at the scene, watching it all unfold. They did nothing. Don and sweet sue's is the best. Great breakfast and lunch. A local icon.
It may not be straight from the 1950's, but it did a job well done for a classic breakfast diner experience. I had two big chorizo breakfast burritos with refried beans. The refried beans were just that. Refried beans. Nothing special there. On the other hand, the breakfast burrito was delicious! The chorizo was fresh and well seasoned, and putting avocado on top was just "California gravy." way over priced. ordered chicken strips and fries, almost 20 bucks and I had better at amusement parks and bowling alleys. very disappointed in quality of food . meal should have been 9.99 MAX
