Had a $100 gift card, used only about $40. I later learned that Shula's gift cards expire within 12-months. Yes, it's my fault, the card expired, and I reached out to Shula's headquarters to see if they would assist. The woman I dealt with there was very nice and easy to work with, but they would not budge!
