I found one of their listings on Zillow that I wanted to tour, so I inquired and got in contact with Pedro who seems to be the Manager of this company. After simply asking for availability on Wednesdays or Thursdays and not getting a response I followed up and he replied with this rude, passive aggressive response.

My bedroom was broken the entire time I lived in this landlord’s apartment, and he never repaired it. I had to prop the window open with a book to get it to stay open, and it would fall down with a vengeance if the book got dislodged. I was relieved to move out and buy a house where I can do my own maintenance.

The landlord seemed OK at first. He was slow to repair some things, fast to repair others. However, when we moved out he hit us with a $750 "yard clearing" bill even though the yard was completely overgrown when we moved in (see photo for move-in condition), and we cleared it a few times during our stay there even though the lease is ambiguous about whether we need to or not. We returned the yard in similar condition to when we moved in.
