We just returned home from another fantastic dining experience at Retaurante Don Quijote. Food at this restaurant is consistently top-notch. We started out with fried calamari which came with a delicious red dipping sauce that had a bit of a kick but was not too spicy. We were in Indiana for just a few hours from Chicago and we had the best experience at Don Quijote. All staff were welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere felt like being at a plaza in Spain. The food was unique, authentic, and satisfying. For drinks we had the house sangria & limonada. As a vegetarian, I had the gazpacho, cauliflower, cold potatoes, & mushrooms. My husband had the calamari. Wonderful restaurant. Very quiet and calm easy to have a nice conversation. Food is always delicious authentic and unique to this charming place. This is absolutely a favorite restaurant of mine. Its clear to see the owner and staff put real passion and care into their menu.
