Their for lunch. The ribs falling off the bone tender.... Old macaroni with no cheese and the microwave dirty rice was appalling.. AC turned to the highest temp. they think they can get away with? All for the price of two (2) arms and a leg?? My friend asked for a glass of water and the girl at the counter looked at him like he was crazy?? I told the girl at the counter these things and she said she would tell the owner but offered NO compensation?? SAD....
Sorry it took a couple of days to do this review, was trying to get my thoughts together. This was my first visit at this restaurant. My first thought was BJ's Seafood Restaurant, but I decided on Soul Food instead. It's not all about black owned restaurants per say...just for once, craving some good restaurant cooked food, that's all. I don't live in the area, came to this city to get my locks retwisted. Super bad experience, the food was poor quality. The cabbage didn't have no taste. The mac & cheese was super dry. I literally could not finish eating the food because it tasted that . AndI felt like they just sold me a plate to make money. They didn't care about the quality of it. I was very disappointed by this experience.
Good bbq with some unique sides and mains. Unfortunately they stopped breakfast and could update that on here
Best BBQ in Brunswick. Everything is delicious and you can tell that they take pride in doing smoked meats rights. If you stop in Brunswick or live here, you need to take the time to visit Don Que's.
