First time here and I'm never coming back again. Service was horrible. 45 minutes to get our food. I understand that it's not a fast food restaurant but at least have some type of attention with the customer. A coffee refill never killed anyone. Our waiter was missing in action. We had to have help from another gentleman. Food was good but service alone is what made my experience a really bad one. The food is amazing, but the bad service is what will keep me away. Waited for a waiter to serve our table for 20 min. And we were basically rushed to leave. Little things like this bother me very much.
1st time going and the food was delicious and service was great our waiter Armando attended us great. Will definitely return again!

We have eaten at Don Pepe's a few times and each time, the service was wonderful! The drinks were good and cold, and the food was VERY good! On my "Top 5 List" in McAllen!!
First time at this place and walked out disappointed, they assigned us a waitress (Jimmy) that was no where to be found, not to mention we waited for a couple of minutes and we had to get another waitress to get us some drinks, after waiting an additional 10 minutes and no one showing up to take our order, we decided to walk out, the least they could of done was not charge us for our drinks considering their bad service!
