Great restaurant, our family enjoys every outing to Don Pepe's! The fajitas are the best here in McAllen! Great friendly service every time, will recommend this place to anyone.
Food is alright although the servings are small. At $12.99-$14.99 a plate you'd expect a better portion. The service is horrible and slow. There were no people, just us and some flies, we still waited over 30 minutes for food. They take forever to take your order, kinda like you're invisible. Refills are also slow. It's pretty hard for a Mexican restaurant to have bad service but this one manages to very well! I will never spend my money here again.
