I was a patient of Dr. Don Kobashigawa for many years. He is a terrific dentist, has a wonderful staff and I felt very secure in trusting him to do root canals, crowns, etc. Don't get me wrong, he is a terrific dentist! The down side is the price you pay to see him. He is expensive! He raised his rates during this recession, which really irked me. Still, I went to him. A gold crown, which used to cost about $1000 was now about $1250. He is not a provider in my dental insurance plan, so I had to pay a lot out of my own pocket... read more
Dr Kobashigawa is very skilled and the gets work done very nicely. However, the service is very expensive and billing process is a mess. They gave me false information about my co-pay; unless I ask, they don't re-imburse the part they overcharge Their scheduler, Kim, is not very polite and often has attitude. It made the trip to the dental office very unpleasant.
I have had Crowns and fillings by Dr. Don. He and his staff has been fantastic. They are very patient and understand that I am skittish in the dental chair. Dr. Don also gave me a great reference when I need to get a root canal performed.
After a bad experiece with another dentist on his floor, I changed to Dr Don. He has great chair side mannors and is a good dentist
I've been going to Dr. Don for about five years. He's a very quick, non-nonsense, professional and works in very modern facilities. He takes great pride in his work and is absolutely one of the best in the San Fernando Valley. The only drawback is that he's more expensive than most.
Dr. Don & his colleague, Dr. Steve Exler completed a dental implant for me in my lower left mandible. It's perfection! Their skills are the perfect balance of science & art. Dr. Don has also performed crown work and just like everything else he does, it's flawless. I am so fortunate to have had a former co-worker recommend me to him. I won't let any other practitioner provide dental service to me. Toluca Lake Dental Group is absolutely the finest in the area.
Dr. Don is incredibly patient and gentle and most importantly PAIN FREE!! I have had a number of cavities filled and two gold crowns put in over the last 12 years and I have never felt any discomfort after the procedures...I didn't believe it was possible, but Dr. Don told me that if he's doing his job properly, there should be no pain...and there never has been after he has worked on my teeth!!! I would highly recommend him to anyone!
