I took my sienna to Don Jacobs Paint and Body and had a very unfortunate experience. It took around 7 months for them to complete the repairs and I had to return it 4 times as my trunk wouldn’t shut automatically, lane assist sensors did not work and my car looked like it had bad body work done. 2013 VW Passat purchased a few years ago from Don Jacobs. I recently had an issue with coolant leaking. I was told I needed a new water pump. I feel I was over charged based on other quotes. I was charged 1,390.00 Labor cost over $800. Miscellaneous charge for $36.00. $40 for coolant just at the line in reservoir tank. Parts over $400. This was a total overcharge I felt I had no choice after leaving my car and it needed to be repaired but I feel I was definitely over charged.
they changed price $3000 dollars above the internet price. then pretended someone else wanted to look at the vehicle. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. DONT waste time looking at cars only to have them try to pull these tricks on you when you are ready to buy.
Employee in the service department sent me through an opening not big enough for my car, and ended up scratching my right side mirror. No offer to buff out. When making appointment for some body work, the employee I talked to said they would use my free car wash certificate, even though that was not their department. The day of the body work, the receptionist had me start the process o an estimate all over again. We took our 2015 Honda CRV for a charging problem (battery going dead overnight) The service manager said no problem !! Well let me tell you all that is where the problem begins.He called the next day saying the door lock switch was bad we got an ok from our extended warranty company ,they changed the switch or so they said Then they called and told us the switch was not the problem that it was a MICU and it would cost 900.00 to replace and maybe it would fix the problem.We decided to take it home but now the door lock do no... read more

In response to this review, this was a situation where the diagnosis manual from Honda led us to replace the door lock switch first, which was covered by the warranty company. After this did not fix the issue, the next step on the flow chart was to replace the MICU. Unfortunately, Mr. W***'s warranty company would not cover this repair, and he chose not to pay to have this repaired. I understand he was going to contact the company that had recently sold him the vehicle to address this further.
