2004 chevrolet z71 front hub bearings My 2004 Z71 developed a grinding noise in the front with only 58,000 mi. Note: $40,000 vehicle almost three years old. The service manager at Don Davis in Bay City tells me the sealed hub bearing failed due to being a defective component and I would have to pay $600.00 for the repair.
