bowling in BR It has been a while since I have actually bowled. But Don Cater's is the place to go. My daughter attended a birthday party there. The kids had a super time.
This Place is the Best Don Carters has made alot of changes in the last year. The Bar has been remodeled, parking lot has been repaved and best of all the arcade rocks as its the best in town. The place is clean and it's the best place for birthdays in Baton Rouge. I recommend that everyone check it out.
Fun for the whole family Don Carter's food is nothing to brag about, and the building and decor are a bit out dated, but it's still a fun place to take the kids for a family activity, and they're attentive and helpful during birthday parties. The offer bumper lanes for kids and have a small arcade as well.

HORRIBLE SERVICE & TREATMENT !!!! Hello, I am writing to express my extreme dissapointment with the way your company is allowed to treat paying customers. My brother's daughter was having a birthday and decided to go bowling. We went to Baton Rouge Don Carter's on Sunday morning at 11am. We asked for 3 lanes together for 10 people and were told we could get them in about 15 minutes. After 30 minutes we were given only 2 lanes. Another Disappointed Community Member What a disappointment this place is. Don Carter's wanted to charge our non-pofit 4 times as much as the next-lowest bowling center's price for us to bowl on some of the lanes during a non-profit event. When we went to the center to meet with the marketing director to discuss the price difference (after comparing the bids), Don Carter's manager actually RAISED the estimate. concern citizen night management are never to be found when needed.when they are they are very rude.there's always young kids running wild and freely it appeared that the parents just drop them off as if this is a daycare/aftercare for kids.
Love this place I just want to thank don carters in baton rouge. That is the only place we will ever bowl at. Every time we go there, no matter how crowded they are or how busy they are , we are always welcomed with a friendly face. Horrible business and false advertising The weekend of March 20,2009 I went to Don Carter's 3 times to take my children bowling. The 1st time was Saturday @ 1pm. I was told no lanes until 5pm. I went back that same day @ 5:30pm still no lanes because of the same tournament that was going on earlier that day. Nothing until 9pm I was told again.
