Dr Stevens and his staff are in a class all by themselves. The minute I walked in the door I knew I was in the right place. They are very transparent and explain everything in a way that you understand and discuss the different treatments available for your such cancer. They all watch over your care and you feel like your a huge family, Which you kinda are. My treatment is going VERY well. My experience at Norton, Women and Children’ Center was very good! The nurses and PCA’s were good at meeting my needs. I grew very fond of them! Dr. Stevens is awesome. He was my doctor in 2010, and again in 2022. I have complete confidence in him. He explains things perfectly. The only day that I know that he has off is Sundays. He is very gentle and caring. Wonderful to talk to.
Dr Stevens is the most caring physician I have encountered. He is always open to answer any of my questions.
Love him! Thank goodness I was asked to get a second opinion because it led me to him. Very personable and cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anybody that’s willing to drive to Louisville to see him. I owe him my life. Was in a clinical trial at Norton’s and have been in remission since Aug 2015.
I was visiting Louisville when I was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia in 2014. Dr Stevens made important decisions to begin intensive chemo shortly after I had abdominal surgery for a bowel obstruction. His decision saved my life. He got me into remission so I could return home and get further treatment. When I had a difficult decision to make regarding a stem cell transplant he was instrumental in helping me make my decision to forgo the transplant. I am 4 years in remission.
i was his patient several years ago and can not say enough good about him and how I was treated. This was when he had a satellite practice at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville....so it has been a while.
My daughter received excellant care! He is very personable and takes his time with each patient. He listens and is very compassionate. My daughter was the oldest ALL patient he had treated. He worked feverishly until he found a cocktail, that put her in full remission! I will forever be grateful to him and his excellent staff!
My opinion of Dr. Stevens is very much negative in his caring for my wife. I would never recommend him to any of my friends or family.
