I've dealt with a few appraisers over the years, but Ron at Domus is the best of the bunch. All appraisers have to be knowledgeable about housing markets and conditions, and Ron certainly is. What's different about Ron is his professionalism and responsiveness. He communicates really well, in a personal manner. He made it pleasant and easy. Highly recommended -- he serves Rockland County too, which was where our house was.
Immediately responsive, he always answers his phone. He shows up exactly on time, delivers reports exactly as promised and really takes the details his client provides into account for an objective, professional, appropriate outcome. I worked with Ronnie when my father passed away with a giant monster house in Bronxville that was falling down around his ears (as well as more straight forward properties) in the midst of the housing market collapse in January 2008, while half way through a complete renovation.
