I don't understand the 4.7 review, I was expecting alot more. The steak and braised beef was ok, I've had alot better. We got appetizers and dessert too. The hostess was rarely around and it seemed like the locals run that place. Do better
I've had French food before a few times, and maybe my expectations were unrealistic or I ordered the wrong thing, but I've never been blown away. Dominique's changed that. Their beef Bourguignon, (similar to pot roast, but with a rich sort of demiglass sauce) was absolutely delicious! Not only was the meat flavorful and tender, their roast vegetables were perfect too. I was so impressed that I decided to get the chocolate mousse too for dessert, which was very tasty. Service was extremely fast for gourmet food as well.
Be aware of this restaurant. They do not treat Asian customers well. I had dinner on Thursday and I was not offered Thursday 20%off whereas the next table white customers was offered 20%. They rushed me out as soon as my appetizer was brought. The male waiter wrapped out my left over appetizer and left it in my table. I was an Asian lady and was there by myself. Delicious boeuf bourguignon!!!!
Came here for the anniversary and it was great! It got a bit lively during peak dinner hours so the environment was a bit too loud to chat. But overall the food was really hearty and delish. Will come back again!
