I applied to this apartment because Apartments.com said it was income restricted which gives the impression of it being low income housing. Apartments.com said you have to make under a certain amount of money per year to qualify, which once again gives the idea of it being low income. After spending $150 on application fees, I was denied because I didn’t make three times the rent, even though it’s supposed to be a low income based apartment complex. As a residence of this apartment complex for the last 5 years I can say this is not a good apartment complex anymore. The first few years were great and then the new owners came in and it beet awful ever since. Its sad that I can't stand living here anymore.
Used to be so great, but ever since new management has taken over, prices have gone way up with zero improvements. Outdated appliances, painted over wallpaper, outrageous water and sewer bills, roach infested, barking dogs day and night, dog feces all over property, broken workout machines, broken down unusable tennis court, walking trails are overgrown with huge holes in pavement. This community used to be so awesome. It is so sad to witness it’s steady decline.
I rarely ever write negative reviews, but this experience definitely warrants one. This was the apartment they expected me to move into after it had supposedly been vacant for at least two weeks. I was PCSing to the area and repeatedly asked them to send me photos of the unit once it became available. Each time, they gave me a different excuse—repainting, installing new carpet, cleaning, or maintenance delays.
