Don't use auto it will rob u. I set up Auto-pay, few days before my bills due, I got some extra cash, decided to pay my bills(electrical) earlier. I paid the Dominion energy bills 10 days earlier and the Online dominion app showed me I got 0.00$ balance for over 10day before the due date. Then from no-where the Auto pay went and tried to pull money ( 0.00$ bills) out of my account on the due. Next thing u know i was charged fees for a returned check. How and why? Worse damn electric company in HISTORY! How did I schedule a start service date and sent my lease verification forms. For yall mfs to turn my electric off. No text, call, email, NOTHING! Cold ass weather outside I have a $0 balance and my kids and I sleeping in a cold ass apartment. Customer service on the phone just clueless. 45 mins for a bunch of idiots to STILL not have an answer. PATHETIC
They changed the policy of not paying your bill on the phone this year and didn't inform anyone. They don't send warnings that the bill is due until the shut off day. Sending a text message only 30 min before shutting the electricity off. Having children, veteran disability and elderly means nothing to them at all. Nobody even offered to assist with the billing company (which is separate because they don't own the company )they expect you to deal with people in other countries handling private credit card information.
