I had my first appointment yesterday with Dr Varma. It was absolutely wonderful to be seen as a human being in a lot of pain. Dr Varma asked questions about my physical life. My movement, my sleep, and she listened to me, really listened to me. I go back in two weeks after she reviews records and labs. I have some hope of returning to a more active lifestyle.
I have been struggling with sciatica for a long time, and for a while, I wasn't sure I'd ever find real relief. Then I started coming to Dr. Varma — and I can honestly say it has been life-changing.
