The Dominion Observatory is a beautiful historic building with impressive architecture. While it’s no longer open to the public for tours, it’s definitely worth a visit just to admire the structure from the outside. Set in a peaceful area, it makes for a nice photo stop and a quick look into Ottawa’s scientific past.
Only open during open doors Ottawa weekend, well worth the visit!
Visited during Open Doors Ottawa. Very nice building and architecture. Not much to look at inside; hopefully they will make this a museum one day and add some astronomy artefacts inside.
