Great hometown restaurant...always friendly, good selection, daily specials and generous portions always...and the bread is amazing. Our server today was Alex, she was very friendly, efficient and couldn’t be more helpful..excellent service. I wasn’t thinking about getting a dessert until she mentioned they have amazing desserts and then I remembered the desserts in the case when I walked in. One of my favorites is the Syracuse Crunch Haddock. The generous portions whether the lunch or the dinner portion, are large enough to last another meal! The same is true for one of the other favorites, the Italian Platter which several of my lunch companions chose. WE all left with full and satisfied stomachs, along with the boxes containing enough for another meal! I had to have a piece of that delicious Alyssa cake, though, so instead of missing out ordered 1 to go !!!!

The service always sucks!! I wish I could find another place for chicken riggies because I would never go here again. Always the worst waiters/waitresses. This last trip was the frosting on the cake. (My daughter’s birthday). The waitress took forever to come back (multiple times) but as soon as we got ready to leave she was peeking around the corner to scoop up her tip!! Absolutely abhor this place.

I live in Rochester NY... Was in Syracuse to visit with family yesterday 2/14/18 we had ordered take out lunch ...food was delicious service was very friendly met a new friend there too!! I had noticed they had their Valentines Day special going on...(I did not plan on any dinner for my husband and I on this occasion for when I got home that night) I had pre ordered 2 prime rib dinners very RARE because I knew it would be an hour or so drive home!!!
