I truly regret coming here. Gina is heavy handed and does not know how to handle natural hair. She pulled a lot of my hair out and my hair is now thinner. She also caused heat damage to where my curl pattern is not the same as it was prior to me going here. She didn’t say thank you when I sent her the payment and gave her a decent tip which I also regret.

I didn’t get a chance to take a before photo today but wanted to show the texture comparison. So a little bit about Dominican touch hair salon. Gina was my stylist and the owner from what I gathered. She is very knowledgeable and has over 10+ years of being a stylist. When I walked into the salon, I was greeted with warm welcomes. I did have an appointment and as soon as I walked in, a couple minutes later I was in the shampoo bowl. 5/5 – Rey is the BEST barber! Rey always does an awesome job! Every time I leave his chair, I feel like a million bucks. His attention to detail, skill with the clippers, and ability to give exactly what you ask for (or even suggest something better) is unmatched. Plus, he’s got great vibes—always professional, punctual, and makes the whole experience smooth. If you want a fresh cut from someone who truly cares about their craft, Rey is your guy. Highly recommend!
