My stylist stays having me looking GORGEOUS! 😍 Every single time, she gets me together without the pain, pulling, or unnecessary stress on my scalp. Ask for pricing first! Thank goodness I did. I went for a walk in and didn’t notice a price menu anywhere. I asked the price ,and after a bunch of back and forth between the employees I was told $95… for a wash and flat iron. My hair is shoulder length for reference. That’s VERY out of touch with the usual $50-65 you would expect from your typical Dominican salon. I think they know what they’re doing not having their starting prices listed…I left!
It was my first time at this salon and overall, my hair was styled as I asked. I received a wash and blow with pin curls. I was originally quoted a higher price before even getting my hair washed due to what I’m assuming “she thought my hair was going to be harder to do”. She asked me 3 times before even washing my hair if I had a perm and I repeated told her no. It wasn’t until after my hair was almost done where she then said it would be less because my hair is “like Latin people”.. for context I am NOT Latin. I was offend... read more
