Jocelin, the owner is awesome . When I moved from NJ, I was looking for a new hair stylist and I found her by accident. That was the best accident I ever had. She is great, very friendly. The salon is always clean. I'm always satisfied with her services. I would highly recommend her salon.
I have been going to Dominican beauty Hair Salon for over 10 years now. I have never had a problem. Joselin Is very fair with her prices compared to the surrounding area and she is very good at keeping my hair healthy. My daughter wanted her hair dyed, And Jocelyn did a fantastic job. It was exactly what my daughter showed in the picture and she couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Jocelyn if you’re looking to do any type of coloring or Hair treatment treatments. She’s also very fantastic at doing blowouts.
Absolutely bad experience…Jocelyn hairdresser didn’t listen and didn’t pay attention to the photos I showed her. I came to salon with middle length of hair and was supposed to just trim little bit half inch in the bottom . She position my chair so I couldn’t see what’s she doing because mirror was to heigh on the wall… when I was correcting her she was bossy and was doing hair according to her vision creating curls and who knows what . Shockingly unprofessional experience with Joselin. Yesterday, I scheduled a last-minute 3-hour keratin appointment, but due to a time mix-up, this morning, the stylist called me and rudely told me to continue going to whoever I was going to do my hair without giving me a chance to explain. I was willing to still come and get a wash and blow out at least but she hung up on me!! This was a surprise given her higher-than-average prices and our previous visits without issues.
