How I wish I could give this place a 0 star for my discriminatory experience. I’ve been here 3 times and have never had any complaints till today. I called to ask how much it would cost to braid my natural hair, only to be told another price when I got there. Upon correcting them, they refused to see fault for pricing different upon arrival; they requested payment before service because black people are known for walking away without payment…..I guess. The salon's friendly and welcoming atmosphere made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit, everytime I visit. I am always left beyond satisfied with my experience and highly recommend Dominican Beauty Bar to anyone looking for healthy hair and fantastic service. The hairstylist is fantastic! She cuts my hair with care rather than rushing through it. You can put your trust in her with your hair!
I went here looking forward to a trim and blow dry and I was beyond satisfied with my outcome. Highly recommend and plan on coming back here moving forward. :)
want to give this place a 0 star the lady that works here is very unprofessional, takes advantage of her workers, and treats them wrongly, she also seems to think that there is only one way to do something and that way is her way or no way. I also witnessed a blowout being done in a harmful way that can cause burns to the customers head. The prices are always off and random, charging different people different prices for the same services. I really don't recommend coming to this salon at all. very bad
