Just an update !!! I’ve been going here for a solid 6 years and my hair is flourishing !!!!! You won’t be disappointed !!!! For the 4 c hair girlies : I get blowouts , clip my ends , use a little bit of coconut oil for moisturizer and in between blowouts , I use homemade rice water treatments. This place is like family to me . Just me over the years … left some photos

I don’t even usually write reviews but just be aware a blow dry and trim is $80 dollars. At least that’s what I was charged before tip. She was nice but the price is a bit insane to me.

How I wish I could give this place a 0 star for my discriminatory experience. I’ve been here 3 times and have never had any complaints till today. I called to ask how much it would cost to braid my natural hair, only to be told another price when I got there. Upon correcting them, they refused to see fault for pricing different upon arrival; they requested payment before service because black people are known for walking away without payment…..I guess. The salon's friendly and welcoming atmosphere made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit, everytime I visit. I am always left beyond satisfied with my experience and highly recommend Dominican Beauty Bar to anyone looking for healthy hair and fantastic service. The hairstylist is fantastic! She cuts my hair with care rather than rushing through it. You can put your trust in her with your hair!
