“MODERN WRIGLEY OASIS” William is the absolute worst, most unprofessional host my party and I have ever had to deal with it. He does not communicate despite constant messages via vrbo and then blames vrbo for not receiving the messages. Pros: cleaning service does a great job INSIDE the apartment, proximity to Wrigley/Boystown, kitchen is a decent setup for a short stay (minus the loose handles). Cons: You will not sleep here. You will not get any rest. Every post about the train not being inconvenient is a flat out lie. It is loud, it is frequent, and the entire apartment shakes with each passing. Decent tenant-facing experience, but room for improvement on the landlord side. This property management company has done a solid job managing tenant relations—things generally run smoothly from the user side, and we haven’t encountered issues from that end. My family stayed at the Modern SFH near McCormick Place and Soldier Field in Chicago in mid-December, and we had a fantastic experience! The house was exactly as pictured—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Communication with William and Rhonda was outstanding. Traveling from Arizona, we were concerned about the cold, but they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort by providing extra blankets and even bringing brand-new space heaters, just in case.
