I was a patient of Dr. Doma and during a routine colonoscopy Dr. Doma punctured my bowel. A few days later I was filling my toliet with blood, rushed to the hospital for a three week stay, multiple operations and many days in an induced coma while they were trying to keep me alive. At the end of my three week stay I was fitted with a colostemy bag. After this I couldn't walk and was shipped off to a rehab facillity for a four week confinement in a wheelchair. I was a patient (more like a victim) of Dr. Doma. After a routine colonoscopy he punctured a bowel 'through and through'. A few days later I was filling my toliet with blood, rushed to the hospital for a four week stay, multiple operations and many days in an induced coma while they were trying to save my life. I was also fitted with a colostemy bag. After my stay I couldn't walk. I was admitted to a rehab facility for four weeks. I was admitted into the hospital for a second time recently for an additional surgical procedur... read more
Dr. Doma failed to cauterize some of my many polyps, resulting in an ambulance ride to the ER in the middle of the night from excessive bleeding. So much blood was lost I needed transfusions. A repeat colonoscopy had to be done, due to his negligence the first time. Two colonoscopies within a few days, a hospital stay, blood transfusions, all during COVID-19...NOT GOOD! I would NOT recommend this doctor at all.
During a recent colonoscopy, my IV was not administered properly resulting in the medication not entering my vein and therefore, I was completely awake. Even though I voiced this to the procedure nurse and Dr. Doma himself, he continued to do the procedure. I kept saying I was awake and that it was hurting, but he continued. Finally he realized the IV was not in my vein and had the nurse insert a new IV and I was out in seconds. I was very disappointed with my experience. I will not return.
Dr Doma was pleasant, curtious, interested in my medical issues and thorough in his exam. My screening colonoscopy procedure in the endoscopy center went well, was painless. He explained what what was done afterwords and gave clear follow up information. He seemed very affable and professional.
I have seen Dr.Doma few times. He is thorough and very pleasant. Great staff.
He was unable to complete two different procedures on me. The reasons were not made clear in his report.
Very direct and clear. Had an upper and lower procedure with no issues. Was not sore afterwards and don't remember waking up during it. The prep directions were clear and the prep this time was easier than three years ago. I went back a week later and had the secretary explain the results to me as I don't remember a thing immediately after the procedure when he spoke to me. It would have been nice if he had taken time to explain the results when I returned so I took off one star.
Very courtiuous front desk. Doctor was very professional, thorough. I love their Endoscopy center. They made my experience as comfortable as possible considering how nervous I was.
