I went to the Dolphin Reef after a business meeting at the hotel. I wasn’t terribly hungry so I just ordered an appetizer and a bowl of soup. They were both outstanding. I had the crispy calamari appetizer. It was lightly breaded and fried to perfection and served with a tomato marinara sauce. My She Crab soup was the best I have ever eaten and contained big lumps of crab meat.
We ate here two nights in a row. That's how much we liked it. The servers were a nice as they could be and we were very satisfied with everything. The peel and eat shrimp were the best I have ever had. If you go to Tybee,gohere.
We are also lucky enough to catch the tail end of happy hour and had the cheapest drinks of any place we went on Tybee.

The food was great and so werethe waiters. The prices were good.The view of the beach from our table was second to none.The buffet has enough choices to please everyone. We're going back.
I arrived late for breakfast here and halfway expected the breakfast buffet to be a letdown. I was pleasantly surprised that it still contained hot and fresh food and everything was cooked just right. The waiters provide just enough attention but not too much, which was good.
We had lunch at theDolphin Reef and the food was great along with the service. This restaurant has a floor to ceiling window that overlooks the ocean so you feel like you're eating on the beach even though you're in an air conditioned restaurant. We also appreciated the generous portions and fair prices.
Crab Crab Crab I thought I might hurt myself eating all the Alaskan Crab Legs at the Dolphin Reef. Their seafood buffet has the bestand the price is good. It's worth making a trip from Savannah to this place.
After a long drive to Tybee wewere gladto sit down at this restaurant and enjoy the seafood buffet without having to get back in the car. We just walked over from our room in the Ocean Plaza. The crab legs were the best I have ever eaten. My wife thought the same about the shrimp. The She Crab Soup was out of this world.Some places water it down too much but here it was just perfect. Everything was just delicious.
