Oakland airport is the easiest airport to fly into in the Bay Area. Easy access to rental cars and connecting freeways. Dollar is one of several low cost rental agencies. Cars are clean(somewhat smokey), new, and typically available in a range of sizes. The express service is normally good..however, my last rental was very disorganized and slow. Most of the dollar staff is very friendly and helpful.
