About this business

After learning the craft from Italian artisans, we are excited to bring authentic gelato to our local Utah community. Our batches are handmade from natural ingredients, local products, and imported Italian specialties--featuring classic Italian flavors like pistachio, hazelnut, tiramisu, gran caffe, amarena (wild cherry) and Pernigotti chocolate, as well as local and seasonal favorites like peach sorbetto and coconut sticky rice. Beyond fresh and tasty. This is artisanal gelato, which means that besides all the traditional flavors you would expect, they regularly feature wonderfully inventive flavors, like sticky rice gelato served with fresh mangos and cream, or blood orange and chocolate, which is to die for, and the list goes on and on. And it is served in the most eclectic, artist-inspired shop in Salt Lake.

Best Pistachio I've ever had. Plus a beautiful store with a chandelier on steroid.

Business response:

We get the best Italian pistachio paste in the world. It comes from Sicily, where the volcanic soil produces pistachios that acquire a peculiar emerald-green color and intense fragrance. Farmers prune them so they only harvest every other year. That's why the taste is so amazing! My husband and I welded the chandelier as well as making most of the tables. We've had such a good time designing the shop. We appreciate you coming in! Thank you!

Absolutely decadent! Hazelnut chocolate and pistachio were heavenly!

Business response:

Hazelnut Chocolate is called bacio and means little kiss, which I love! Thanks for the comments and for visiting Dolcetti!
