Yuck This Italian Food Bad and rude servers, bad atmosphere, bad, expensive food. The food tastes like one of those microwaveable meals you can buy at the local grocery store for $3, but they charge $12. If this is ture Italian food then I don't want to live.I can't imagine them staying in buisness too long. Don't make the same mistake I did, don't eat at Dolce Vita!!
Dolce Vita - good service, good Italian food Service was very friendly, humorous and quick. We arrived before 6:00 on a Thursday evening, so it wasn't terribly busy. Appetizers of mozzarella sticks and artichoke dip were marvelous and quick. Stuffed shrimp with fettucini was excellent -- fresh, not frozen jumbo shrimp and fresh asparagus. Excellent dinner, reasonable prices, great service -- we'll be coming back.
Try not to get sick here. Went with family, had calamari appetizer, waited additional 20 min just for salad and bread (it was busy). My oldest son projectile vomited the calamari, we thought he did not like it so we took dinner to go. But later that night all my family had stomach pains and coming out the other end. Kind of upsetting that I had to pay 80$ for my whole family to get sick!! Don't let the location fool you! Dolce Vita has some of the best Italian food I have had in Tucson. They definitely make sure you leave feeling happy, and have some incredible pasta salad and bread with dipping oil/vinegar to start with. Good service and good food. Highly recommend to anyone considering.
