My dog and I love that staff. They listened to my needs when I expressed he needed extra care. Every time I looked at the cameras they were taking good care of my dog, and listened to my concerns. He loves it here!
Our dog loves it here! Super friendly staff who always are kind to us and take great care of Quinn. It’s a huge help with our schedule to day board him here from time to time. The cameras are a great bonus and we always get a report on how he did each day. Thanks Dogtopia of Midvale!
I’ve had very positive experiences with Dogtopia of Midvale in the past, which makes this experience even more disappointing. My family had a trip planned to Orlando, so I made a reservation weeks in advance for my two dogs to stay for five nights. My 7-year-old Schnauzer has been there many times, and my 7-month-old Yorkie puppy had been there once before and did great. I would like to say first and foremost that the staff is amazing. They genuinely care about the animals in their care and I had zero worries dropping him off for daycare. HOWEVER…of all the employees I spoke with about boarding him there a couple nights a week when I work, not a single person told me that there are no humans there between the hours of 8pm and 6am at all. We are very disappointed in the way this franchise is being run and will not be bringing our dog back. It is clear that the well-being of the animals is not being prioritized. There is constant staff turnover, and on a daily basis there are not enough employees to properly run all three daycare rooms. Instead, they combine all of the big dogs into one room, which is not safe or appropriate. In addition, despite knowing our dog is deaf, the staff failed to make any effort to communicate with him in a way he could understand. ... read more
